Hanover, November 2024 - Forbo Movement Systems has added the innovative cutting belt Novo 30 HAP-HC+ black to its portfolio.
The belt, which has been specially developed for vacuum systems, complements the proven cutting belt E 6/2 U0/U18 STR transparent, which has long been used in ultrasonic cutting machines. With this addition, Forbo now offers a further product for different challenges in the portfolio for precise cutting applications.
With widths of up to 3500 mm and no additional longitudinal seam, the Novo 30 HAP-HC+ black is ideal for use in large-scale systems where paper, cardboard, corrugated cardboard, wood, plastic, textiles or similar materials are cut. The belt's high air permeability fixes the materials securely and reduces the vacuum pump's energy consumption.
The belt material is a specially developed fiber package and provides a wear- and cut-resistant surface. The new belt type is highly conductive and protects against electrostatic discharge, which ensures safety during operation.
New cutting belt for vacuum systems complements existing product line
The proven E 6/2 U0/U18 STR transparent cutting belt is particularly suitable for cutting composite materials and other products with sensitive surfaces, such as floor coverings or leather. The belt type is coated with polyurethane and used with perforations. Since the fabric fibers are “sealed”, possible contamination of the goods being transported is avoided. The particularly cut-resistant, thick polyurethane surface also makes the belt ideal for transporting sharp-edged metal or cast parts in the automotive and metal industries. The suction is done through the perforation of the belt.
With the Novo 30 HAP-HC+ black, Forbo is offering a perfect addition to its portfolio to support precise and efficient cutting processes even more flexibly.
