Our commitment to the environment and society is based on a holistic approach, which makes sound economic sense and is sustainable at the same time. As a leading manufacturer of conveyor and power transmission belts, our focus here, too, is on movement: in the improvement of technologies and processes, as well as in purposeful further development of our products – not only in Europe, but across the globe.
We are not content with just obtaining ISO certifications for our plants in Germany. By auditing our production facilities across the world, we put a global focus on energy management and environmental issues in production. We can proudly proclaim that we have already made significant progress towards a more sparing use of energy and water. Our aim is and remains to increase the efficiency of how we use resources in our company.
Our consistent focus on quality in the development and manufacturing of our products, our qualified advice on their use and their packaging, and our thoroughly trained service personnel have an impact on the entire product life cycle. The long service life of our products already prevents wasting precious resources caused by an early need for replacement. Compared to many alternative products, our conveyor and power transmission belts also consume in some cases considerably less energy and thus also ensure a better energy footprint for our customers during the service life of our products.
We believe that fairness to people and to the environment are inseparable concepts. Human rights are of great importance for us, and we are committed to their protection and advancement. This is directly reflected in the fair treatment of our employees and in our desire to internationally establish and maintain high standards in employment. We work towards the health and safety of our employees, promote their basic and advanced training, and adhere to a comprehensive, established Compliance Guideline.
