Hanover, December 2024 – Forbo Movement Systems is adding seven new FLT belts to its Siegling Fullsan product line.
The non-reinforced version of the Fullsan Flat belts stands for superior hygiene and very easy splicing. They stand apart because they track superbly, are consistently elastic and therefore easy to tension. Their exceptional lateral stiffness means they can also be used for inclined conveying on S-type conveyors.
The advantages are clear: Siegling Fullsan Flat (FLT) belts are outstandingly hygienic thanks to their fully enclosed designs. As a result, they offer reliable protection from oil, grease, moisture and bacteria. Their special surfaces are easy and therefore much more efficient to clean, which also cuts downtime significantly. The belts’ outstanding hydrolysis resistance is equally impressive, ensuring a long service life even in demanding applications.
The seven new belts come with three surface patterns geared to the special requirements of food conveying.

Three surface patterns
A smooth surface (GL) is ideal for applications with moist or wet products. It’s easy to clean and friction on the drive drum ideal.
A matte pattern (MT) ensures good accumulation capability and reliable product release.
The inverted pyramid pattern (NP) reduces the product contact area and improves product release. This characteristic is very beneficial when dough and vegetables are conveyed.
Forbo Movement Systems offers the seven belt types in different surface combinations on the belt’s top face and underside. The FLT belts’ special designs mean standard heating presses can weld them endlessly, making the belts very flexible to fit.
The FLT series is ideal for meat, poultry, and fish processing and conveying dough or vegetables. Fullsan FLT belts also have a good track record in cheese and ice cream production.
