Hanover, June 2025 - Forbo Movement Systems presents the new Prolink plastic modular belt series 9.1, the innovation in the field of modular conveyor technology. The plastic modular belt is ideal for use in spiral towers. The innovative belt concept with two alternative side modules makes it particularly easy to adapt the belts to existing system radii.

In order to minimise the space required for the spiral tower construction, Series 9.1 only provides side modules for small radii (SMT modules) in the inner radius. Compared to hinges with the usual collapse factor of 2.2, the required net square footprint is reduced by almost 50 %.
The new clip-free attachment of the hinge pins increases
reliability and facilitates handling.
The ends of the hinge pins are fixed securely in the edge
module and can’t stick out from the sides of the belt.
