Well-being

Well-being starts here

We made it our mission to design and offer products that contribute in a positive way to the health and comfort of the individual by bringing nature in.

In a world where we spend on average 85% of our time indoors, it's only natural to prioritise enhancing the quality of these spaces. Whether it's schools, healthcare facilities, workplaces, leisure centres, or our homes, every square meter provides an opportunity to infuse the best elements of nature into our indoor surroundings.

Marmoleum contributes to each and everyone's well-being on many levels. Marmoleum is designed to contribute to a safe, hygienic and comfortable environment. The floors are easy to clean, naturally bacteriostatic, have antiviral properties and are Allergy UK approved. Its tactility and beautiful colours influence all your senses. Thanks to its biobased raw materials and continuous life cycle improvements, we are able to create a climate positive floor that contributes to a sustainable future. Marmoleum floors improve the environmental and well-being score in building rating schemes such as LEED, BREEAM and the Well building standard.

Create a seamless connection between our living spaces and the natural world.

Sustainability

Marmoleum Modular & Sustainability

Marmoleum modular tiles are produced from raw materials including linseed oil, rosin, wood flour and limestone. The raw materials used are either abundantly available or rapidly renewable, with annual crops or grow back schemes.

Marmoleum modular is manufactured in Kirkcaldy, Scotland using 100% green energy and the production site is also ISO 14001 certified.

Installation waste can be recycled back into product at our plant in Kirkcaldy and the product offers a generic BREEAM rating of A/A+ across all market sectors.

Marmoleum is also naturally antibacterial and has been approved by Allergy UK for the benefit it offers to allergy sufferers.
