Mass-balance approach
With our Allura Decibel B+ option, for both the recycled plasticiser and the bio-based PVC, a mass balance approach is used. In our mass-balance manufacturing process, traditional PVC and bio-based PVC enter the same production stream. The more Allura Decibel b+ floors our customers buy, the more recycled and bio-based raw materials we can add, leading to a continuous reduction of fossil resources throughout our supply chain.
