Cut into a unique shaped matwell, the classic grey and aluminium aesthetic of Nuway Tuftiguard Classic was chosen to complete the first impression for visitors entering the building, whilst also providing outstanding dirt and moisture retention. As a result, this will reduce the number of accidental slips or falls and protect interior floor finishes.

The Aviva Stadium

Ireland’s newest major sporting venue, the inspiring Aviva Stadium, required a fittingly impressive entrance and exit zone aesthetic for its opening this year. Accommodating up to 50,000 seated spectators meant issues of safety were key to the specification process, and the entrance flooring system chosen had to perform to the highest level functionally as well as aesthetically. Fortunately, Forbo Flooring
System’s extensive portfolio of entrance matting systems offered the ideal products for the job. Robust, smartly attractive and with moisture absorbing qualities for anti-slip safety, Nuway Tuftiguard was used for the entrance areas.

Double sided

All Nuway Tuftiguard mats are double sided, which means that throughout their lifecycle and as part of a regular cleaning regime, they can be removed from their matwell and turned over. Nuway Tuftiguard products are constructed using high tensile steel linkages which provide them with outstanding construction integrity and means they are suitable for high footfall environments.
By essentially getting two mats for the price of one, it's easy to see how when cleaned correctly, Nuway Tuftiguard mats can still look as good as new after 10-15 years of use.

Single sided

Nuway Grip, Connect and Connect Plus variations are all, single sided mats that can withstand medium levels of footfall and offer different design and performance characteristics to out double-sided alternatives.
By being single sided, they do not contain steel linkages which means they can be shaped on-site, and unique design options can be achieved, such as Chevron. Our single sided mats all receive a standard guarantee of 7-years, which increases to 10 years when installed by one of our FESSI contactors.

When you combine any Forbo interior flooring product with our Coral or Nuway entrance matting, as part of the same project, your product guarantee will be extended by an impressive 50%. For example, a standard Marmoleum guarantee will increase from 10 years to 15 years.

All Nuway products are handmade at our UK factory in Telford, using the highest standard of materials. UK Manufacturing also allows for Nuway Tuftiguard orders of 20m or less to be delivered within 5 or 7 working days, depending on product.
