The product literature states that I can lay some carpet tiles broadloom - why can I still see joints?

The product literature states that I can lay some carpet tiles broadloom - why can I still see joints?

The term broadloom refers to the direction of laying the tiles and is a laying option for some ranges. Where broadloom installation is a laying option, the expectation that a seamless finish will be achieved from the first day of laying will not always be met. All carpet tiles require some amount of time to settle under normal foot traffic and maintenance and the joints will become less visible.

The time for this to occur will depend on a number of factors. For example, low loop tiles generally take longer than tile with a higher pile height and tile joints are usually less visible in darker colours immediately after installation than light colours. Where settlement is needed this could take several weeks and is perfectly normal.
