There are many confusions between project vinyl (or vinyl) floor coverings and lino floor coverings. The word lino is actually used by the general public to refer to project vinyl flooring because of its similar appearance.
However, due to the distinct manufacturing process, a floor with imitation parquet, waxed concrete, tiles or cement tiles can not be made of linoleum flooring... but vinyl flooring.
Although both types of floor coverings exist in all available forms (planks, tiles and slats), linoleum, due to its natural materials and its burlap back, is also more rigid than project vinyl.
