Eternal heterogeneous vinyl flooring offers multiple features that contribute to healthier living and working spaces.
Recycled content
Eternal flooring contains at least 30.5% recycled content and is produced using 100% renewable green electricity, ensuring it meets all relevant environmental and quality standards. By pairing Eternal flooring with Forbo’s Coral and Nuway entrance systems, the lifespan of the floor can be significantly extended.
Phthalate free
Eternal flooring is 100% phthalate-free, ensuring it is free from harmful chemicals that can damage organs and the reproductive system. It also has a low emission level, with a TVOC value of less than 20µg/m³, well below the required limit of 1000µg/m³. Supporting a circular approach to manufacturing.
Easy to clean and maintain
PUR Pearl, a combination of a durable PUR lacquer and specific embossing structure, makes Eternal flooring easy to clean and maintain, reducing the need for chemical cleaners and prolonging the product's lifespan. The design is also optimized for both appearance and cleanability, with Wood and Concrete finishes that maintain their look without compromising on ease of care.
Forbo uses Life Cycle Assessments to identify and continuously improve the environmental performance of our floors. Our independently verified Environmental Product Declarations provide a framework for measuring a building’s environmental footprint and give you the information you need to make a sustainable decision. With an average residual indentation value of just 0.02mm, our product is the best in the market. The embossed backing ensures superior adhesion to the subfloor, and thanks to the balanced construction, the floor remains stable and flat without curling, ensuring long-lasting performance.
A strong yet flexible PUR lacquer is applied before embossing to ensure consistent performance across the entire width. This improved double protection lacquer application enhances the surface strength without compromising performance characteristics.
Eternal floor coverings also feature high-quality glass fleece, which offers excellent dimensional stability . The glass fleece is double impregnated to provide superior foundation support and reduce the potential for delamination. The pigmented top layer in Eternal Colour offers higher color intensity and optimal light fastness, ensuring the floor’s appearance remains vibrant over time.
