Nuway Cable Connect is versatile roll-up single sided entrance system with a wide choice of inserts and accessories. It’s also available in MD format for areas that require need a more robust single sided mat.

Where to use

The location, type and level of traffic affects the choice of product. Nuway Cable is suitable for very heavy traffic entrances. For entrances where intense traffic or high point loading is expected, our Tuftiguard or Tuftiguard HD ranges may be more suitable.

Internal or external use

Matting placed outside will defend against soil and the coarsest of foot-borne dirt. Inside it will defend against foot-borne moisture and finer dirt particles.
Nuway Cable is available for both internal and external entrances depending on the choice of insert

Reversible

Nuway Cable is a single sided mat and so cannot be reversed to allow both sides to be used, unlike our Tuftiguard ranges

Finishes

There is a wide choice of inserts and accessories which can be mixed, allowing Cable to be adapted to suit individual requirements. This includes bristle (3 row and single), rubber, scrapers and Coral textile inserts.

Nuway Cable with Coral inserts allows the rigid entrance system to be matched to Coral Classic sheet product to create colour coordinated entrance areas.

Moisture removal

Removing moisture from the soles of shoes is vital to prevent people slipping on interior surfaces. Cable with Coral inserts will remove more moisture than the other Connect inserts.

Nuway Cable not only allows a choice of insert and height, but there’s also a choice of accessories available such as a scraper or a single row of bristles, so you can have the perfect customised entrance system. Nuway Cable is available in open format only

Pick your inserts

3 row bristle – for removal of coarse dirt. Available on 17 and 22mm only. For interior and exterior use.

Rubber - for exterior and interior use

Coral Classic - for removing moisture and fine dirt. The use of Coral inserts allows for colour co-ordination with interior finishes. For interior use only.

Select an accessory (if necessary)

A single row of bristles and the scraper accessory can be used for interior and exterior entrances to remove coarse dirt.

Note: These accessories are only available on the 22mm depth version.

Select your depth or format

The choice of height will largely be dependent on the depth of the matwell.

Considerations
As with all aluminium matting systems of this type, in very brightly lit entrances, the strong contrast between a light aluminium carrier and a dark coloured insert can sometimes create a strobe effect which should be prevented. To avoid disorientating pedestrians affected by this type of visual disturbance, consider using a less contrasting insert.

If you are considering using rubber inserts for an exterior mat in an exposed entrance we recommend using a combination of rubber and bristle.
