    Flotex Code

    Flotex Advance Code pays homage to the creativity of the office worker offering a connection to the art of the typewriter, used by many as a means to produce inspirational and innovative design. The interplay of letters and characters layer and overlay to form a unique and abstract pattern.

    The Code collection is available in sheet and in 50x50 cm tiles.

    Flotex Code sheet is provided with a Flotex Next backing, which allows both adhesive free and glued installation.

    Please note that the CO₂ footprint (A1-A3) value mentioned below is only applicable for the Flotex Advance tiles.

Recolouration options

It is possible to colour Flotex Code and Latitude floors to your preferred colour, for sheet as well as tiles.

When you like the Latitude or Code design but you are after a special colour, we can create it for you. Please contact your local sales contact and together we will start the process to create your ultimate floor.

Steps to a bespoke design floor:
1. Contact your local customer service to check the minimum order quantity.
2. Choose your colour reference in Pantone, NCS, RAL or material samples.
3. You receive a sample for approval.
4. After your approval, your custom floor design will be produced.

Fast flooring solution

Flotex Advance sheet comes with a Flotex Next backing as standard, allowing both loose lay and glued installation. Flotex Next is an adhesive free textile floor covering backing that can be used in high traffic applications. It can be installed quickly without adhesives, but is even more time and cost efficient at time of replacement.

Not having to use installation adhesive makes Flotex Next very suitable for busy areas: installation time is reduced and there is minimal disruption or lingering adhesive odours. Flotex Next can be walked on immediately after installation.

Who wouldn't want to save time, money and effort?
With Flotex Next only a very short time is needed to prepare the substrate and the installation itself requires a limited number of operations. Only minimal preparation of the subfloor is required and the application of the adhesive and the drying time of the glue do not have to be taken into account. A new floor can be installed with minimal downtime or even without closing the premises.

Durable production
• Controlled supply chain certification – ISO 140001 and 9001 standards and SA8000 for ethical supply chain.
• All Flotex products are manufactured with 100% green electricity and have very low product emissions.
• 86% of the factory waste is recycled.
• Flotex sheet contains up to 20% and Flotex tiles and planks up to 59% recycled content.
• Water-based inks and dyes are used for production.
• No additional chemical processes take place other than high temperature steam treatment to secure the colours.

• Flotex has a product lifetime that surpasses that of ordinary textiles.
• Flotex is 100% phthalate free.
• Only 100% safe and traceable REACH compliant materials are used.

EASY TO CLEAN
• The premium quality nylon 6.6. fibres provide superior stain resistance and cleanability.
• The unique construction with densely flocked straight piles ensures effortless stain removal.

HYGIENE AND INDOOR AIR QUALITY
• The waterproof backing prevents spilled liquids from penetrating the sub-floor, thus preventing the growth of bacteria, mould and odours.
• The 80 million straight fibres per m2 capture fine dust and allergens, retain them and release them when the floor is vacuumed.
• Flotex contributes to better indoor air quality and is the only textile floor covering with the British Allergy Foundation's seal of approval.

The Flotex Next construction is available across our Flotex Advance, Flotex Naturals, Hospitality & Leisure, and Created By sheet collections, as well as for all Flotex sheet items in the digital library.

To specify your required Next construction, simply add the code 'NX' as a suffix to the colourway number of any Flotex item.
