WZC De Faluintjes

Until recently, OCMW Aalst had 3 residential care centers in-house. The large care center Sint-Job on the Marktweg was built in the late 1960s and needed to be replaced. Instead of building one large care center, the OCMW Aalst decided to set up 2 smaller-scale care centers.

Small scale does not only fit in perfectly with the common principles in residential care for the elderly, by providing a new building in Baardegem, OCMW Aalst realizes a better geographical spread in care for the elderly. At the end of 2018, the first residential care center De Faluintjes opened his doors. In the rooms and corridors you will find 4500 m² of Allura Wood luxury vinyl tiles in the color honey elegant oak.
