When a workplace has to change address it is not always popular. Especially not when you have to move 50 km away. This was the challenge that the Midt Region, Jutland faced when the IT department had to move from Horsens to Aarhus.
“- Involving and engaging our users was the right thing to do and at the same time helding out a prospect of significant quality boost of the new jobs, IT Manager in Region Midt, Jesper Hansen explains, and continues “Focus was both colors and, not least, about a nice material that is really comfortable to work with”.
The assignment was handed over to the joinery Asking A/S, who quickly pointed at Furniture as the answer to the demands: Comfortably, soft but at the same time robust and with a selection of colors, so each zone of the interior could have its own identity.
Region Midt had a desire to preserve its existing height adjustable frames to focus on the desks. Switching from the old to the new ones with Furniture from Asking A/S was therefore made as a joint task among the employees one Saturday morning before moving in.

In the family-owned company Asking A/S furniture linoleum is often used.
