The architects went gently to work at the 121 years old building with the biggest respect for the original architecture and interior by the architect William M. Miller (1898).
The project leader Rustam Mehta, GRT Architects: - The demanding assignment is characterized by a rustic, patinated expression in and outside. This is achieved by limited use of hard materials and by bringing out known materials in new context as Marmoleum vivace on the kitchen islands tabletop.
