The boathouse of the Heilbronn Rowing Society "Schwaben" is a historical jewel that has found its home on the banks of the Neckar for many decades. The society was founded back in 1879 and has maintained a rich tradition in rowing ever since. The boathouse of the Heilbronn Rowing Society "Schwaben" not only offers a picturesque view of the Neckar, but also optimal conditions for rowing. Members can perfect their skills on the water here and take part in regional as well as national competitions. The club is proud of its successful history in rowing and of the numerous successes its athletes have achieved over the years.

The boathouse itself, a project by KRUMMLAUF TESKE HAPPOLD Architektengesellschaft mbH radiates a charming and nostalgic atmosphere. The combination of the striking and sustainable wooden architecture and the red Marmoleum from Forbo Flooring gives the building an inviting and warm atmosphere. Marmoleum is produced in a climate-positive way from natural and renewable raw materials and thus blends in perfectly with the natural environment. The floor covering's durability offers a special added value, as the building is not only a place for sporting activities, but also a sociable meeting place for members and their friends and families. It serves as a venue for events, celebrations and communal activities, exposing the flooring to high levels of wear and tear. But thanks to Topshield Pro surface treatment, Marmoleum is extremely resistant to wear and tear or damage caused by heavy visitor traffic with dirt ingress and frequent moving of heavy furniture.
