The design balances the brutalist building, designed in 1974 by Nutter Stevenson and Partners, with bold colours and graphics that are reminiscent of the supergraphics of the 1970s, while breathing contemporaneity and new life into the space.
By working closely with Forbo and Russell we were able to realise a rather complex design and installation. Understanding the capabilities of the product and the installer was paramount to achieving the outcome and a true example of the benefit of communication and collaboration among all parties.
