The Quai Branly Museum has collections of art and objects from Africa, Asia, Oceania and America's civilizations.
To delineate the spaces dedicated to each culture , Ateliers Jean Nouvel chose Marmoleum flooring Forbo. So Didier Brault , project manager says "The choice of colors corresponds to the identification of the four continents from which the collections of the museum ." Many calepinages have been made to mix colors and create a unique design, to cover the 12 000 m² of surface. Marmoleum has also created a huge mosaic of 5000 m² , composed of 13 colors . Finally, besides the aesthetic, Marmoleum was also appreciated for the simple adaptation to the morphology of the ground.
