Moods of the Season
Each season has a different meaning to every one of us depending on where we are in the world and our culture and traditions. With our Moods of the Season, we hope to translate those feelings into design in a way that will both complement and question, suggesting products and scenarios that we hope will inspire you throughout the year.
A seasonable selection every three months
Wherever we are, our seasons are influenced by nature, and as such, each of our Moods of the Season will in some way reflect that, highlighting not only Forbo’s commitment to sustainability but also the importance we place on nature as the key to wellbeing in interior environments.
Every three months we will bring you a seasonal taster selection from our comprehensive product portfolios, showcasing items that bring together our thoughts and feelings at the different times of the year. Each of these will aim to capture the essence of each season and communicate its "mood".
Carefully compiled by our design team
Each Mood of the Season is carefully compiled by our team of international design professionals and consists of a selection of Forbo products chosen to complement each other and convey the essence of each season.
Their inspiration comes from a wide range of sources, including interiors, fashion, home furnishings, industrial design, art, graphics, and media. The colors are selected from the Forbo Global Color Card, a balanced selection of interior trend colors that is updated each year, and is used to create the colors for all of our product collections.
For us, this Mood is about more than just color. It embraces surfaces and environment, suggests space and atmosphere, and tells a unique story that we hope will engage you and encourage you to create your own narrative.
