    Our Marmoleum Ohmex conductive linoleum meets higher requirements for electrical conductivity. It's electrical resistance is improved to < 1-108Ω (in accordance with EN1081). This makes Ohmex very suitable for use in areas with sensitive equipment like computer and server rooms.

    Friction and subsequent separation of 2 objects can generate tribo-electrification, the most known source of static electrical discharge, causing for example electrical shocks when touching metal objects. The discharge can cause damage to electrical equipment.

    Electrical resistance
    A floor covering with a low electrical resistance can quickly dissipate electrical charges. Electrical resistance is expressed in Ohm (Ω). Marmoleum Ohmex has an increased electrical resistance of < 108Ω (EN1081). This ensures personal safety and protects equipment that is sensitive to static electricity, like computers and other electronic devices.
