Allura Fusion - fusing color pastes
The Allura Fusion dryback 0.70 LVT range contains 7 innovative and unique floor items. This collection is rewarded with a Red-dot Design Award for best product design in 2018. The designs, colours and photography are created to inspire designers, interior architects and other customers who appreciate design and are open for innovative, non-conventional flooring products.
Fusing colour pastes
The word “Fusion” stands for the process of fused or blended colour pastes. It is the technique of adding partly a transparent and a non-transparent coloured paste in the wear-layer of existing Allura designs. The fusing of the pastes generates a random effect that makes each plank or tile really unique, and creates depth in the designs. In the process we opt for a maximal mixing process of the various pastes, creating various transparent and non-transparent colour tones. Occasionally this results in a straight line between different pastes streams, but it originates generally a subtle mix with random movements, that cannot be made with traditional printing techniques.
Depth in our creations
The coloured pastes have already heritage in Allura as full coloured planks; especially in the “Solid Oaks” where the colour strength creates bright and intense color tones. Along the same lines we have developed two plank items with a mix of three solid colours which create a surprisingly stunning visual. By combining the paste with a printed visual underneath, the design creates a depth, which in case of the wooden planks are extra amplified by the deep wood embossing.
Mix Allura Fusion with other Allura products
The collection has 4 planks and 3 tiles and can be clearly linked (also by item-number) to the standard items in Allura. In this way one has the possibility to mix Fusion with the core Allura collection, which is also shown in the photography of this range.
