Hedda Andersson was Lund's first female student and Sweden's second female medical doctor. A pioneer who paved the way for others with her courage and determination. When Lund's newest municipal high school was built, it was named Hedda Anderssonsgymnasiet.
The new building, which was completely finished in autumn of 2023, will accommodate 1650 high school students and 350 primary school students. It has a total of approx. 20,000 m2 of Marmoleum flooring spread over 4 floors. Forbo Flooring Systems' linoleum floor, Marmoleum, is set in the corridors, teachers' rooms and classrooms. Even the stairs between the different floors are covered with Marmoleum Fresco 2.5 mm.
