Maybe you are a loyal viewer of this programme, maybe not. In any case, this year, just like last year, we have fitted the entire BigBrother house with beautiful floors. And wow, what a beautiful and atmospheric end result!
Warm atmosphere
We see a lot of marble, dark blue and botanical wallpaper. In the living room and kitchen, we chose Novilon Viva wood. This vinyl quality is suitable for intensive residential use, so it fits perfectly in the Big Brother house. The warm brown floor also matches the colours of the walls and furniture well. This creates a luxurious and warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home immediately. Which is, of course, the idea if you are going to stay there for 100 days.
Tough concrete look
The interior is given a tough look by combining the wood look with concrete. Novilon Viva is also available with a concrete look and the strips are 400 cm wide so that hardly any seams are visible. A perfect alternative to a self-levelling floor with just as sleek a look. In addition to being cheaper than a casting floor, it is also less permanent. And do you want something new on the floor? Vinyl is easy to remove again. Another advantage of vinyl is that it is also extremely quiet and can be perfectly combined with underfloor heating. Don't have underfloor heating? Even then, the floor is comfortable because it easily absorbs the heat of the room, so it always feels pleasant on your feet.
Peace and unity
To create peace and unity in the rather busy house, it was decided to install the same warm wood look in the bedrooms. The residents keep the house clean themselves, so it is nice that the floor is easy to clean.
Anti-slip in the bathroom
Of course, the safety of the occupants is also considered. Surestep floors are ideally suited for wet areas and particularly well known for their good anti-slip properties. This floor also complies with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and European safety regulations. This time, the bathroom has two showers and a bathtub. Anyone wanting to take a bath has little privacy, as there are no curtains or doors.
Craftsmanship
