The Tessera Layout & Outline collection offers a contemporary palette of 34 solid colours and 7 coordinated linear designs. The 50x50 cm carpet tiles give the flexibility to create flowing connections, seamless transitions and complementary design highlights within busy workplace and education interiors.

Tessera Layout offers a clean, flexible colour palette with tones that work well in any interior, either individually or in combination, designed to make mixing colours and textures easy and cohesive.
Tessera Outline introduces a subtle striped design, with each colourway paired to two Layout shades. Together, Layout and Outline make it easy to create engaging, harmonious working environments.

With a modern, versatile and coordinated colour palette, this carpet tile collection with high-performance loop pile construction offers you the creative freedom to craft schemes that are intuitively engaging and easy to navigate.

    Tessera Layout is both versatile and refined, with a balanced curated colour palette of contemporary neutrals and rich, directional warmer tones. The colours can be used independently or in colour combinations to match interior design trends for workplace and education environments.

    Tessera Outline complements Layout with a subtly random striped loop pile design, each colourway paired with two Layout tones for a coordinated plain-and-linear duo. Sharing core colours, Layout offers a versatile foundation while Outline adds refined linear detail, together enabling transitions, zoning and cohesive schemes.

    Made from hard-wearing 100% solution-dyed polyamide for lasting vibrancy and containing 61% recycled content, Layout & Outline carpet tiles offer strong performance with a reduced environmental footprint. Indoor Air Comfort Gold and GUT certifications ensure that the collection contributes to healthier indoor air environments. By meeting requirements such as a product EPD, indoor air quality standards and broader sustainability targets, Layout & Outline contribute to building schemes such as BREEAM, LEED and WELL.

    Transparency with every step

    To prove the eco-friendliness of our carpet tile products, Forbo uses several assessments. The first is the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) technique resulting in an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This declaration, which is transparent and third-party verified, is based on a technique to assess environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product's life from raw material extraction through materials processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair and maintenance, to ultimate disposal or recycling.

    This technique takes all the following aspects into account: environmental impact of raw material acquisition, energy use and efficiency, content of materials and chemical substances, emissions to air, soil and water and waste generation.

    Forbo Tessera carpet tiles are manufactured using polyamide (nylon) fibres for durability and appearance retention in the busiest commercial environments. A well designed entrance flooring system will prevent dirt and moisture from being tracked into the building, prolonging the life of the carpet tiles, reducing cleaning, repair and overall maintenance costs. Forbo Coral and Nuway entrance systems are independently proven to remove and retain up to 95% of all dirt and moisture entering a building.

    Following the Forbo Floorcare guidelines will ensure that the appearance retention of the carpet tiles is retained.
