The Tessera Struktur 1 colours can be used on their own or in combination with the 6 tonal stripe options in the same beautiful neutral tones from the Tessera Struktur 2 Linear collection.

• A subtle, compact, flat structured carpet tile, Struktur 1 creates a pleasing ambiance and minimalist, timeless interior feel.
• 100% solution dyed polyamide 6 for class 33 durability and colour fastness.
• 50x50cm tile format laid quarter turn (monolithic installation is at the discretion of the user, but non-visible joins are not guaranteed).
• 65% recycled content by weight.
• Acoustic value 17dB for reduced noise transmission.

    Microtuft pile construction

    Tessera Struktur 1 is a very low profile, loop pile carpet tile which replicates the look, feel and durability of a traditional flatwoven textile.

    Different from a standard tufted loop pile carpet tile, microtuft loops are very low and sit tight on the surface of the tile, giving a very robust, hardwearing textile floor solution.

    The low profile of microtuft carpet tiles does mean that visible edges are a characteristic of this style of carpet tile construction, and extra care should be taken during installation to ensure an optimal finish and to minimise the appearance of visible edges.

    Transparency with every step

    To prove the eco-friendliness of our carpet tile products, Forbo uses several assessments. The first is the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) technique resulting in an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This declaration, which is transparent and third-party verified, is based on a technique to assess environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product's life from raw material extraction through materials processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair and maintenance, to ultimate disposal or recycling.

    This technique takes all the following aspects into account: environmental impact of raw material acquisition, energy use and efficiency, content of materials and chemical substances, emissions to air, soil and water and waste generation.

    Forbo Tessera carpet tiles are manufactured using polyamide (nylon) fibres for durability and appearance retention in the busiest commercial environments. A well designed entrance flooring system will prevent dirt and moisture from being tracked into the building, prolonging the life of the carpet tiles, reducing cleaning, repair and overall maintenance costs. Forbo Coral and Nuway entrance systems are independently proven to remove and retain up to 95% of all dirt and moisture entering a building.

    Following the Forbo Floorcare guidelines will ensure that the appearance retention of the carpet tiles is retained.
