Marmoleum Ohmex linoleum meets the higher requirements related to electrical conductivity. With electrical resistance improved to < 1-10 8 Ω (EN1081), Marmoleum Ohmex not only protects personal safety, but also protects equipment sensitive to static electricity.

At 2.5 mm thick, Marmoleum Ohmex is is available in six different colours. Common areas of use include computer/server areas and rooms with sensitive equipment.

Static electricity

Safety resistance
A floor’s electrical resistance can’t be too low. This could cause electrocution where there is contact with a mains voltage of 220-230 Volts.
According to the VDE0100/T160 a floor covering requires a minimal electrical resistance of: 5.104. This is called the safety resistance.
