    The digital world of Flotex Vision

    High definition digital print
    As Flotex has over 70 million fibres per square metre, it provides a unique high density substrate for printing. As a result, vibrant designs and true to life visuals can be printed in high level photographic resolutions. All desired colour shades, tones and hues can be achieved.

    Fantastic effects
    Digital print offers an infinite number of design options ranging from abstracts with an intricate colour spectre to realistic images of grass, sand or water, or any picture projected on your floor. Create 3D depth or a “trompe d ‘oeil” effect on your floor. Bring nature in your room by creating a pebble beach or moss surface.

    Endless design options
    Digital printing is also well suited for those collections that require visual detail and effects that cannot easily be reached through conventional print. Flotex Vision contains over 500 individual items.

    Colour your own
    Do you like the design, but you cannot find the colours you want? Flotex Vision offers a large number of designs that can be recoloured by selecting your own colours.

    If you have your own idea of what you would like on the floor, we also offer a bespoke design service on request. Contact your local sales representative for more information.

    Flotex digital library

    With over 500 designs to choose from, including the option to create your own colourway of some of the designs, or even a completely bespoke design, one single webpage is never able to capture all the options that are available. Therefore Flotex vision is offered to you in a flexible and always up-to-date digital library.

    The Flotex Digital Library offers you the opportunity to see the many possibilities that Flotex digitally printed floor coverings offer you. You can see all designs installed in various applications like hospitals, schools, retail facilities and offices.

    6 design themes
    To give you some guidance and offer you a logic design path we have created 6 initial entries to the library, each of them representing a different design direction. In addition to the items in the library, for some designs we also offer the possibility to choose your own colour combination.

    Unique design
    It is also possible to create your own unique design. This is not part of the library but can be discussed with your local Forbo sales representative.

    Allergy UK
    Flotex is approved by Allergy UK as it has proven to have a positive impact on the lives of allergy sufferers. It has the ability to trap allergens and then safely release them to standard cleaning appliances. When cleaned, Flotex releases twice as many allergens compared to the cleaning of conventional carpets. More harmful allergens are removed, creating a more comfortable environment for asthma and allergy sufferers.

    A sustainable floor

    Green electricity
    Forbo’s manufacturing operations for Flotex in Great Britain and France secure a high quality floor covering, produced with green electricity and minimum waste streams that are all recycled in the floor.

    Water based
    Flotex is created with nylon 6.6 fibres. All dies and inks that are used to create the Flotex designs are water based. No additional chemical processes take place other than high temperature steam treatment to secure the colours.

    Recycled content
    Flotex makes use of waste streams of other Forbo production locations to be transformed into the backing of the floor coverings. Recycled content in Flotex is up to 67% of the backing content.

    Extremely durable
    A big advantage for using Flotex is the extreme performance of the floor covering, with a product life time that surpasses that of ordinary textiles by a factor 6.

    Simple cleaning & maintenance
    Flotex can be cleaned by using water and a simple detergent. For most staining, simple household soap is enough to clean the product, while other detergent clean away ink, oil and more severe stains. After use Flotex can be recycled back into the production process.

    Flotex cleaning & maintenance

    The unique construction of Flotex flocked flooring is what allows to release soling like no other textile flooring. Unlike the looped and twisted fibers of a conventional carpet tile, the smooth straight fibres of Flotex do not trap particles of soil, allowing them to be removed without difficulty during cleaning. Most spills can be cleaned with plain water.

    Som i alle andre biblioteker kan du i Flotex digitale bibliotek gennemse og overveje de mange designmuligheder, der eksisterer. Vi kan også hjælpe dig med vejledning, og finde det mønster, du foretrækker. Klik her for at gå til det digitale bibliotek flotex digital library

    Der er mange indgange i biblioteket, som hver repræsenterer en designretning, der vil kunne passe til din smag. Ud over elementerne i biblioteket, er der yderligere muligheder for visse mønstre, hvor man kan vælge farvekombination. Der er også muligt at bestille unikke designs, som ikke indgår i biblioteket. Mønstrene i biblioteket er altid aktuelle og nye elementer tilføjes jævnligt.

    Flotex produceres på vores fabrikker i UK og Frankrig med grøn elektricitet og genvundet materiale i produktets bagside.

    Vandbaseret
    Flotex er fremstillet af tætte opretstående nylon 6,6 fibre. Vi benytter vandbaseret trykvæske og blæk til at skabe mønstrene og dampbehandling ved høj temperatur til at fastholde farverne.

    Genanvendt indhold
    Flotex bruger overskudsmateriale fra andre af Forbos produktionsenheder, som benyttes til bundlaget. Det genvundne materiale udgør ca 67% af bundlaget.

    Ekstremt holdbar
    En stor fordel ved Flotex er gulvbelægningens ekstreme ydeevne. Produktet har en levetid, der overstiger øvrige tekstile belægninger.

    Enkel rengøring og vedligeholdelse
    Flotex kan rengøres ved brug af vand og et rengøringsmiddel. For at fjerne de fleste pletter/spild er almindelig husholdningssæbe tilstrækkeligt, mens andet rengøringsmiddel fjerner blæk, olie og mere alvorlige pletter. Efter udtjent brug kan Flotex genbruges i produktionen.

    Flotex montering & rengøring

    Flotex' unikke konstruktion frigiver smudset som ingen anden tekstil gulvbelægning. De glatte opretstående fibre bevirker at tørt snavs ikke sidder fast i fibrenes løkker eller tuvndne ender, og støvsugeren når helt ned i bunden af luven, så alt snavs fjernes.
