the measurable impact of our efforts on our environment
From the very first design, we consciously choose materials with a focus on circularity. We increasingly use recycled, certified, and bio-based components that are safer for people and the environment.
We use materials and energy as efficiently as possible. By reintegrating residual streams into our production process, we create less waste and more value. Our circular packaging structurally reduces waste.
We reduce emissions by switching to renewable energy, improving efficiency, and phasing out fossil fuels. In this way, we contribute to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement across scopes 1, 2, and 3.

Forbo Eurocol introduces a new linoleum adhesive that’s an environmentally friendly trendsetter in sustainable adhesive technology: 616 Eurostar Lino Green. It’s the first in a new generation of adhesives moving us towards a more sustainable future. Based on a renewable binder, with the quality and processing properties you’ve come to expect from Forbo Eurocol!
Good ideas often stand out for their simplicity. The Eurocol bucket scraper, made from recycled plastic, is one such example. Designed to collect buckets containing pasty products such as tile adhesive and floor covering adhesive in a scrape-clean condition for recycling. Better for the environment and no waste of reusable raw materials. What’s more, you get more out of every bucket!
Good news from the sustainability front: BMN Bouwmaterialen and Forbo Eurocol are joining forces for an innovative recycling service for plastic buckets and jerrycans. To achieve this, they are working together with Kras Recycling from Volendam. A great new step towards a greener future!
