This healthcare project involves the expansion and refurbishment of the existing neonatology unit at Clinica Santa Maria. The selection of the floor covering was driven by the unique needs of the sensitive patient population. The contractor and architect specifically chose Forbo's Sarlon acoustic flooring to significantly reduce noise reverberation and maintain a quiet, therapeutic environment suitable for premature infants. Beyond the acoustic benefits, the Sarlon flooring was also chosen for its required high hygiene standards and superior resistance to aggressive chemicals used for frequent cleaning.
