Collaboration is central to the Flemish-Dutch Bible Society in Haarlem, The Netherlands. The renovated floor plays an important role in this. Together with J.P. van Beek Projectinrichting, a flooring solution was realized that brings tranquility, comfort and cohesion to the daily working environment.
Tessera Topology carpet tiles were chosen for the office and meeting rooms because of their comfort and pleasant acoustics. The entrance, corridors and company restaurant feature Marmoleum Fresco linoleum flooring. In total, there is 900 m² of carpet and 650 m² of Marmoleum, spread over three floors. The materials fit together seamlessly and create a beautiful coherent floor design throughout the building.
The selection process was carried out together with the employees who actively contributed their ideas. ‘With Forbo's Floorvisualizer we were able to use photos of our own spaces. This made it much more concrete and allowed us to involve more colleagues in the choices,’ says Frank Tijhaar, Finance and Administration Manager.
A visit to the Forbo Experience Centre in Assendelft provided additional insight and inspiration. ‘It was not only useful, but also simply enjoyable to discover together what suits us best.’
The final flooring choice were warm brown colour tones that match the identity of the organization and create an inviting atmosphere.
