Architect Sander Griffioen explains why he opted for a combination of Flotex and Marmoleum: "The Marmoleum floor was chosen for its maintenance, durability and the desire for a natural look and feel. The Cocoa series lends itself extremely well to this. The light colour rack is meant to make the restaurant open and light, a place to get energy and to step out of the working environment for a while. Homely accents and fresh furniture colours create a collaborative whole. The Flotex Almond strips introduce a soft floor that is still easy to keep clean as an accent and also has a spatial dividing effect to naturally mark various zones such as distribution, restaurant, lounge, and traffic areas. The colour schemes were created in close cooperation with KLM branding".
