The care center Scheldehof was completed at the end of 2017. It is a former shipyard in Vlissingen, based on the Heavy Plate Workshop of the Scheldt Quarter. Industrial heritage thoroughly rebuilt with the construction of a new wing. The building includes 91 nursing homes and 52 apartments for seniors.
On the ground floor of the complex a grand cafe, studio, theater, and several course and meeting rooms are located. In the atrium a winter garden has been created. The starting point for the interior was homely, authentic and to avoid the character of an institution. Forbo Marmoleum Concrete floors meet all these properties.
