The customer

Shinjin Master Co., Ltd.’s headquarters are located in Seoul. The company also has its own factory in Gimpo and produces all types of equipment and dishwasher systems. Their market is the foodservice market such as marts, hospitals, hotels and canteens etc. They don’t just produce products for local customers but also export them to other Asian countries. The first meeting with SJM was at the Seoul Food Exhibition in May 2015. They exhibited their old system operated by top chain conveyor and visited Forbo Korea Movement Systems‘ booth at the same exhibition where they started to discuss a fully automated new system operated with Prolink.

Application

The existing top chain system had a hygiene problem in the steel chain drive system and restrictions on performance where inclined conveying is concerned. And what’s more, canteen space is usually limited and needs more effective utilization. The customer Shinjin Master manufactures an automated dishwashing system and requested advice from Forbo Korea Movement Systems about providing an innovative way of solving problems and improving efficiency in the former system.

Our belting solution

Movement Systems provided the right solution by offering Prolink Series 4.1 FRT, which is able to convey the dish tray at a 13˚~16˚ incline, even in water. And Prolink Series 11, which can reduce space due to a smaller collapse factor on the inner radius.

Result

As we were able to provide the right solution and Prolink performed superbly, the customer was able to design a fully automated conveying system from the tray, to washing, drying and positioning. And all the systems processes are completely hygienic. Shinjin Master are delighted with the solution and planning to expand their business in this field, believing that this solution can give them the cutting edge in this sector.
