Questo pavimento tessile autoposante, nel formato da 50 x 50 cm, è disponibile in 6 tonalità neutre e 6 colori più caldi. Tranquillity è adatto in particolare a uffici e scuole.

Tessera Tranquillity fa parte della Serie Evolve+ della Forbo, che raggruppa pavimenti tessili con un profilo di sostenibilità ambientale particolarmente elevato.

    EPD trasparenza al 100%

    Per dimostrare il profilo ecologico dei suoi pavimenti tessili, la Forbo si avvale di diversi metodi di valutazione. Il più importante è la Valutazione del Ciclo di Vita (LCA), il cui risultato è la Dichiarazione EPD (Environmental Product Declaration). Questa dichiarazione, trasparente e verificata da terzi, si basa sull’analisi dell’impatto ambientale di ogni prodotto in ogni fase, dall’estrazione delle materie prime, al processo di produzione, distribuzione, uso, riparazione e manutenzione, fino al riciclo o allo smaltimento a fine vita.

    Questo metodo prende in considerazione i seguenti aspetti: impatto sull’ambiente dovuto all’acquisizione delle materie prime, consumo energetico ed efficienza energetica, contenuto di materiali o sostanze chimiche, emissioni, generazione di scarti solidi o liquidi.

    Tranquillity is a serene sense of calm and reflection; a quiet haven in our otherwise busy world.

    Inspired by the patterns created by the soothing ebb and flow of water or natural rock formations, Tranquillity is a refreshing take on organic design. Tranquillity carpet tiles offer serenity to office and education interior spaces.

    Tranquillity complements other Tessera carpet tile ranges and ranges from the wider Forbo portfolio through matching colours, tones and harmonising designs, giving greater creative options and opportunities to create coordinating schemes which work with your space.

    Through meeting the requirements such as product EPDs, indoor air quality (Indoor Air Comfort Gold and GUT) and sustainability targets, Tranquillity also contributes to popular build schemes such as BREEAM, LEED and WELL.

    The Tessera Tranquillity collection is part of our evolve+ series
    Standard Tessera carpet tiles already contain over 60% recycled content and are produced using 100% renewable energy, resulting in lower embodied carbon levels.

    By evolving this standard carpet tile construction, Forbo Flooring Systems has further improved the sustainability of selected carpet tile ranges, increasing the recycled content and substantially lowering the embodied carbon (A1-A3). All without offsetting and verified by range specific Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

    These most sustainable ranges can be easily identified as being part of the evolve+ series, all achieving the following enhanced sustainability criteria:
    • less than 2 kg CO2 e/m2 of embodied carbon (A1-A3)
    • more than 75% recycled content
    • produced using 100% renewable energy

    Transparency with every step

    To prove the eco-friendliness of our carpet tile products, Forbo uses several assessments. The first is the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) technique resulting in an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). This declaration, which is transparent and third-party verified, is based on a technique to assess environmental impacts associated with all the stages of a product's life from raw material extraction through materials processing, manufacture, distribution, use, repair and maintenance, to ultimate disposal or recycling.

    This technique takes all the following aspects into account: environmental impact of raw material acquisition, energy use and efficiency, content of materials and chemical substances, emissions to air, soil and water and waste generation.

    Forbo Tessera carpet tiles are manufactured using polyamide (nylon) fibres for durability and appearance retention in the busiest commercial environments. A well designed entrance flooring system will prevent dirt and moisture from being tracked into the building, prolonging the life of the carpet tiles, reducing cleaning, repair and overall maintenance costs. Forbo Coral and Nuway entrance systems are independently proven to remove and retain up to 95% of all dirt and moisture entering a building.

    Following the Forbo Floorcare guidelines will ensure that the appearance retention of the carpet tiles is retained.
