The Marmoleum Imagine designs made by Kustaa Saksi speak their own language: organic, mysterious, narrative. Inspiration from nature is reflected in the 2 series of designs: IRIS and OASIS.

IRIS is a colourful and lively design built from many different particles. The ‘exploded’ view creates an energetic image. The design contains 4 colours which can be personally selected to create one’s own favorite picture.

The OASIS design is inspired by nature and placed in a circle. OASIS 1 consists of 4 colours and has a diameter of 150cm. OASIS 2 has a diameter of 75cm and is composed from 2 colours.

About Kustaa Saksi

Kustaa Saksi is a Finnish visual artist, textile designer and illustrator specializing in graphic storytelling through patterns, textile art and installations. In his designs he combines organic qualities with detailed textures in rich colour palettes and experimental material use. Saksi’s artworks have been exhibited at galleries and museums all over the world.

Kustaa Saksi has produced commissioned artworks for companies such as Nike, Issey Miyake, Levi’s, Salvatore Ferragamo, Lacoste, LVMH, Moooi and Marimekko.
