The Croix-Rouge media library in Reims was designed to offer users a bright, comfortable, and acoustically controlled cultural space conducive to reading, concentration, and relaxation.
To meet the comfort and performance requirements of this project, nearly 250 m² of carefully selected Forbo floor coverings were installed in various interior spaces.
In the areas of the upper floor that were formerly residential, 95 m² of Flotex tiles and planks were installed, with wood imitations and bolder designs in Flotex vision. Thanks to its unique structure, Flotex offers warm walking comfort, excellent sound absorption, and easy hygiene, while withstanding the intensive use of a public place.
For the offices and circulation areas on the ground floor, more than 155 m² of Sarlon trafic 19 dB and 15 dB acoustic PVC flooring was installed. These PVC tiles with enhanced acoustic performance significantly reduce impact noise, limit noise pollution in high-traffic areas, and provide a resistant, easy-to-clean, non-slip, and durable surface.
Finally, other areas were fitted with Allura compact PVC flooring, creating a warm atmosphere inspired by natural wood and offering easy maintenance.
