SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2019

The use of biogas, reduction in CO2 levels and making a real start on solutions for the circular economy are some of the topics that are covered in Forbo Flooring Systems eighth consecutive Sustainability Report. This report has been made following the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.

Forbo Flooring Systems shows improvements in the environmental performance of all product groups. There is higher recycled content in the textiles portfolio, a larger phthalate free offer in vinyl and a unique CO2 neutral proposition on the cradle to gate product release of the linoleum portfolio, without using offsetting. Moreover Flooring Systems has made a real start in designing the components for the circular economy of its products.
