In 2019 a new fitness studio opened in Beckum, which offers visitors a new space to train. The architect Schuster Innenausbau GmbH from Geseke had the intention to separate the rooms visually by using different materials and to create different moods. The focus was especially on the entrance area, which forms the centre of the studio. Here a homely character was created by using everyday and modern furniture, such as sofas, clothes rails and various plants.
To emphasize the coziness factor, Flotex Planks by Forbo in different color shades have been installed. This flooring serves to decelerate the visitors and, thanks to its acoustic properties, to create a haven of calm in which the studio visitors can come to rest between or after their training sessions.
A special eye-catcher is created by the word "starting point", which has been worked into the Flotex floor as an inlay. Also the use of different colours in the wood design creates attention and directs the focus to the flooring. Apart from the appealing design, Flotex also has technical advantages. It can be easily cleaned and is non-slip even when wet.
In other areas from the sports club Forbo Marmoleum Sport flooring has been applied. The 2 applied colours are out of collection, but when clicking on the images below you will be directed to matching colours.
