Opened in December 2025, the new departure station for the Roche de Mio gondola modernizes access to the ski area. Located in the heart of the base area, this new facility was designed to offer skiers and visitors a reception area that is functional, comfortable, and capable of handling high visitor volumes.
As part of this project, Flotex was chosen to cover all interior spaces of the station. With nearly 220 m² installed, this flooring provides a sleek, contemporary finish while meeting the specific requirements of a high-traffic area and the unique conditions of a mountain environment. Its textile surface also contributes to acoustic comfort and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere as soon as visitors enter the station.
The entrance vestibule, meanwhile, was fitted with Coral flooring, which is particularly well-suited for high-traffic areas exposed to the elements. Positioned on the front line against snow and moisture, it helps limit the entry of dirt and water into the interior spaces, while providing a functional transition between the outdoors and the station.
