Jānis Daliņa Stadium is an open athletics and football stadium, located in Valmiera. Opened in 1938, the stadium was built for an international competition where the famed Latvian athlete of the time - Jānis Daliņš from Valmiera - was participating. He won a silver medal at the Los Angeles Olympic games in 1932 and surpassed many world records in race walking.

1,500 square metres of digitally printed Flotex flocked flooring has been installed in the stadium. Digital printing offers an infinite number of design possibilities for your floor, ranging from abstracts with intricate colour spectrums to realistic images of natural materials like grass and water. The directional Cord floor design chosen for the Jānis Daliņa Stadium comes from the Linear category in our Flotex vision library. The Flotex Cord floor can be coloured in the colours that best suit your design.
