The Hyatt Place Zurich Airport The Circle is located directly in the Circle at Zurich Airport, making it one of Switzerland's best-connected locations. It provides access to The Circle Convention Center, one of the country's largest convention centres. It is the first Hyatt Place property in Switzerland and represents uncomplicated service in a well-thought-out, intuitive design.
Design concept
The hotel's design is distinctive and communicative, authentically Swiss, yet international. This authenticity and timeless quality is communicated not least through the incorporation and interpretation of local art, customs, and landmarks. The main inspiration for the Hyatt Place's design concept is Zurich's old town, particularly the Niederdorf, which also serves as the main inspiration for Circle architect Riken Yamamoto.
Free design thanks to Flotex Vision
The city colours blue and white accompany guests throughout the hotel, including the rooms. Atelier Zürich was able to create a sense of arrival for the guest with an unobtrusive colour gradient from dark in the room entrance to light at the windows by using Flotex Vision for the floors. In the aisles, a Flotex Vision with a special colour was used. The decision in favour of Flotex was influenced not only by design freedom but also operational benefits. A comfortable carpet floor that is as simple to maintain as an elastic floor covering. Forbo's Flotex is extremely durable and strong, providing excellent performance.
