5 popular Tessera Accord carpet tile colours are available from stock in SOFTbac backing.

    Acoustic cushioned backing

    With an integrated underlay, SOFTbac® backing provides an extra layer of cushioning beneath the Tessera carpet tile which improves acoustic, thermal and comfort performance, all enhancing the workspace environment and contributing to the wellbeing of the user.

    Suitable for use in heavy commercial installations including office and education settings, SOFTbac backings also help to absorb the impact of foot traffic, incidence of pile crush and indentations of furniture, improving longer term appearance.

    Tessera SOFTbac® is available from stock for immediate despatch in 5 popular colours in the Accord range and 5 popular colours in the Cloudscape range.

    Other colours in Forbo's Tessera carpet tile range are also available in SOFTbac®, subject to an order lead time and minimum order quantities.

    Made using 90% recycled polyester, SOFTbac® backing further increases the total recycled content of the carpet tile.

    Forbo Tessera carpet tiles are manufactured using polyamide (nylon) fibres for durability and appearance retention in the busiest commercial environments. A well designed entrance flooring system will prevent dirt and moisture from being tracked into the building, prolonging the life of the carpet tiles, reducing cleaning, repair and overall maintenance costs. Forbo Coral and Nuway entrance systems are independently proven to remove and retain up to 95% of all dirt and moisture entering a building.

    Following the Forbo Floorcare guidelines will ensure that the appearance retention of the carpet tiles is retained.
