After 14 years Big Brother is back and with a new season comes a brand new house. This time the Big Brother house is in Duivendrecht right next to the Johan Cruijff Arena and the Endemol headquarters. Fourteen candidates entered the house on Monday, January 4, 2021 and left exactly 100 days later, on Friday, April 9. Both inside and outside the entire house are no less than 125 cameras that follow the residents day and night. The winner of Big Brother goes home with 100,000 euros.
Most Coronaproof location

Vloerloods, partner and sponsor of the program, fitted the entire house with suitable floors. The house had to become the most Coronaproof location in the Netherlands.
The modern interior is balanced by the right choice of floor, walls, colors and materials. In addition to being durable, the floors also had to be practical and easy to keep clean for reasons of hygiene. In the spacious living room, there is a beautiful, soft green Marmoleum from the Fresco collection, which matches the comfortable sofas.

The most striking floor in the BigBrother house is the floor in the bedroom. Here, Flotex Tibor Quartz was chosen. Both Marmoleum and Flotex are bacteriostatic, which means that bacteria cannot multiply. Ideal in this age of Corona where everything revolves around hygiene. Safety has also been considered. For the kitchen and bathroom Surestep has been chosen in a warm Terra color that combines beautifully with the rest. Surestep floors are, because of the good anti-slip layer, extremely suitable for spaces with an increased risk of slipping.

The eye-catcher of the house
Perhaps the most popular hallway of the year in the Netherlands and Belgium is the Big Brother hallway! A concrete Sphera floor has been installed in this corridor. A light gray color was chosen which goes beautifully with the color effect of the lamps in the hallway. This creates a unique atmosphere.

It was quite a job, but the result is worth it. The floor installation is taut and a beautiful piece of lattice and a wonderful cooperation with floor specialist Vloerloods.
