  • high flank adhesion in the joint, optimised sandability
  • high filling capacity even with wider joints
  • no sagging in the joints
  • optimised wood colour, especially for dark woods
  • prefilled, but does not need to be stirred - shaking is sufficient
  • canister goods, therefore safe transport
  • very low emission installation material, certified according to EMICODE EC 1 Plus
  • certified by baubook, "ecological building product"

Performances

Consumption : Approx. 50 - 150 g/m² depending on joint width.
Flammability : Non-flammable.
Frost resistance : No.
Specific weight : 1.02 kg/ll.

Application

Application:
For filling joints in fully bonded parquet.

Working Process

Tools : Spatula.
Storage : Store cool and dry in unopened packaging.
Shelf Life : Approx 12 months, in unopened packaging. After use close the open packaging well.
Drying : Approc 30 - 60 minutes. *

Remarks :

Observe the technical information and safety data sheets of other installation materials and the parquet manufacturer!

In the case of unknown types of wood, the suitability of the products to be used should be checked by preliminary tests.

Nailed or screwed parquet floors are usually not puttyled to avoid breakouts of the putty due to the movable construction.

If the joint edges are very dirty or waxed, adhesion problems can occur.

* The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.

Consumption:
Approx. 50 - 150 g/m² depending on joint width.

Substrate:
  • The surfaces to be sealed must be clean and free of residues of oil, wax, silicone and other adhesion-reducing layers.
  • The wood surface is roughly sanded.

User manual:

Before use, temper the product according to the processing conditions.

  • Stir well and thoroughly before use.
  • Mix the solution with approximately 15 % of sanding dust of the same wood as the parquet floor (grit: 80 – 120) to an easily applicable paste (consistency similar to dough).

If the consistency of the mixture is too thick, the wood putty mix will not sick well in the joint and may separate while sanding. If the consistency of the mixture is too wet, the joints may not be filled 100%. The finer the sanding dust, the better is the filling ability and the adhesion in the joint.

  • We recommend mixing the solution with sanding dust in a clean bucket to a homogenous mixture and not on the floor! Too much sanding dust can lead to cracks not being filled sufficiently, please reduce the dust quantity.
  • Apply the mixture on the whole parquet floor equally diagonal with a rust free double sided spatula and push the material into the joints forcefully. Repeat the procedure to fill the joints if necessary.
  • After a drying time of approximately. 30 – 60 min., grind the floor and continue with find grinding.
Make sure that no residues of the wood-putty mixture remain on the surface.

Now you can start sealing the parquet with all types of Eurocol parquet varnishes, parquet oils or parquet oil-waxes.

Processing conditions:

at least 15 °C floor temperature,
at least 18°C material and room temperature,
35-75% relative humidity, recommended <65%.
