160

Two-component PU-based artificial turf adhesive, up to 20 % less consumption. Also suitable for bad weather conditions, can be applied until 2 °C.

  • Product Typification


    Basis : Polyurethane resin and isocyanat hardener.
    Colour : Green.
    Consistency : Pasty.

    Product advantages:
    • Two-component PU-based, green colored adhesive with very low consumption.
    • For gluing artificial turf along the seams on permitted polyester fleece tape (849 Eurotape U).
    • Fast drying. Applicable also under extreme temperature conditions (low temperature 2°C and high humidity/fog 90%) according to technical data sheet.
    • Low consumption in comparison to other turf adhesives.
    • Indoor and outdoor use.
    • GISCODE RU 1.

    Consumption : approx. 270 g/rm with 30 cm seam width.
    Curing : Approx 12 hours. *
    Flammability : Non-flammable.
    Special quality : Reduced consumption. Can be used largely independent of the weather.
  • Application

    For the installation of:

    • artificial turf along the seams on permitted Eurocol polyester fleece tape.

  • Working Process
    Tools : Adhesive spreader. The type of spreader depends material and subfloor.
    Open time : 60 minutes. *
    Mixing ratio : 100 parts by weight of component A 15 parts by weight of component B.
    Processing time : Use within 60 minutes after mixing.*
    Curing : Approx 12 hours. *
    Storage : Store free from frost. Protect against temperatures > 35 ºC.
    Shelf Life : Approx 18 months, in unopened packaging. Do not mix partial portions.
    Cleaner : 815 Euroclean HandClean, 358 ToolCleaner.

    * The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.

    Consumption:
    approx. 270 g/rm with 30 cm seam width.

    Substrate:
    • All load-bearing, water-draining subfloors suitable for sports facilities are suitable as subfloors.
    • Care must be taken to ensure that the subfloor is in perfect condition.
    • It must have the appropriate strength and hardness for the respective requirements.
    • Bonding is carried out on dry Eurocol seam tapes, depending on the subsequent sporting load.


    User manual:
    • Before use, temper the product according to the processing conditions.
    • Empty the hardener component completely into the resin component and mix homogeneously with a suitable stirrer for approx. 5 minutes, also in the wall and bottom areas of the containers. Immediately decant into a clean container and mix again.
    • Apply the adhesive quickly to the seam tape with an adapted toothed strip or applicator, do not leave it in the mixing vessel for too long.
    • Lay out the covering and fold it back from the seam and place the seam tape centrally under the subsequent seam.
    • The adhesive is applied to a Eurocol seam tape made of polypropylene fleece (e.g. 849 Eurotape U) [universal], in an appropriate amount of the adhesive to the back structure of the flooring so that sufficient grooved back wetting is achieved.
    • The covering can be laid immediately after the adhesive has been applied within the working time.
    • Afterwards, the covering should be rubbed or rolled on well.

    However, the working time depends on the ambient temperature, air humidity and the temperature of the subfloor. The specified value applies to a normal climate of 20°C/65% relative humidity and fresh adhesive mixture. If the covering is laid too late, wetting of the covering is no longer guaranteed. Insufficient adhesion is the result.

    • Proceed in the same way when laying the field marking.

    Processing conditions:

    min. 2 °C floor temperature, recommended 15 - 25 °C
    30 - 90 % relative humidity, recommended <65%.

    Safety and environment : Safety data sheets of Forbo Eurocol products according to EEG-guideline 91/155. Keep out of reach of children. Do not eat, drink or smoke while processing the product. Only give completely empty containers for recycling. Bound material residues can be disposed of as household waste.
