The traditional company health insurance from Dachau arose from the merger of former BKK Personal and BKK A.T.Y in 2009. Since the existing offices of the BKK in the center of Dachau were all spread over several buildings, it was logical to build a new office building for the future. After a thorough examination the decision for the new building fell to the commercial area GADA in the municipality of Bergkirchen. In a record-breaking construction period of only seven months was the site by the end of 2010 done.
The opening ceremony of the building was on 16. 05. 2011. 150 honorary guests, among them Dr. Maximilian Gaßner, President of the Federal Insurance Office and head of the supreme supervisory authority of the health insurance companies, were able to get an impression of the premises and the individual workplace design. A special flair of warmth as well as nature closeness, the floor achieved this flair through the well-established German parquet manufacturers and installers.
The company Bembé Parkett GmbH & Co. KG was awarded the contract for the laying of parquet thanks to its knowledge and decades of experiences in the laying of healthy parquet floors.
On the question, what is the difference between regular and Bembé parquet, the answer is 230 years of experience as a parquet manufacturer, with activity not only in Germany but worldwide, its recognized position as master and training company and its highest principles, quality in every production step is guaranteed.
As a system supplier Bembé sets a special emphasis with its complete service, from consulting to installation and has been familiar with experienced system suppliers of subfloor preparation materials such as Forbo Eurocol Deutschland GmbH for many years. Forbo Eurocol produces levelling compound for parquet, adhesives and primers for the laying of parquet as well as sealing lacquers and oil-wax systems for the surface treatment of parquet.
In order to meet the high requirements of the builder, in terms of health and environmental sustainability, Bembé decided to use very low VOC emission EC 1 and EC 1 R products from Forbo Eurocol.
On approximately 1400 square meters red oak, a light brown North American parquet wood with a typical red-colored grain pattern was laid on a cement screed.
