Waiting time : Approx 8-10 hours. *
Curing : Fully set after 14 days.
Storage : Store cool and dry in unopened packaging.
Shelf Life : Approx 60 Months, in unopened packaging. After use close the open packaging well.
Frost-proof : yes.
Remarks : Technical information and safety data sheets of other installation materials and parquet must be observed!
According to DIN 18356, impregnated parquet floors must be continuously maintained.
For this purpose we recommend our cleaning and care products for oiled floors. Observe special care instructions and provide the user with evidence of this.
Cloths or pads soaked with the liquid product should be washed immediately after use or stored in an airtight.
Keep metal container. Risk of spontaneous combustion!

* The mentioned values have been established in our laboratory and must be considered as guidelines in view of possible variations in climatic circumstances, subfloor compositions and layer thickness.

Consumption:
approx. 50 ml/m² depending on the type of wood and the nature of the substrate (end-grain wood, lying fibres...).
Range of a container 2.5 l: approx. 50 m² for a coating with roller.

Substrate:
  • The surfaces to be sealed must be clean and free of residues of oil, wax, silicone and other adhesion-reducing layers.
  • Joints are closed with suitable Eurocol joint sealant.
  • The fine sanding depends on the type of wood. The surface and edge sanding must be levelled with a sanding grid.
  • In order to ensure the penetration of the product, a "tight sanding" of the surface with too fine sanding paper must be prevented.

User manual:

Before use, temper the product according to the processing conditions.

  • Remove any surface skin that may have formed, do not stir in! Stir well before use!
  • Coat the sanded and cleaned wooden floor thinly and evenly (approx. 50 ml/m²) using a short pile oil-wax-velour roller (4 mm floor). With less absorbent and/or dense woods, the application quantity must be reduced to achieve a stick-free, even drying. In case of doubt, apply several trowel coats instead of roller application until surface protection and uniformity is guaranteed.
  • If drying is delayed due to lower temperatures, inadequate ventilation, certain types of wood, wait until the wood is completely dry!
  • In order to create an even surface, a thin layer of filler must be applied within 24 hours in the 2nd work step (double surface filler, approx. 10 - 15 ml/m²) and immediately massaged in/padded out using a white pad. As the filler application dries very quickly, work with several single-disc machines or in sections, depending on the size of the area.
Depending on the wood absorbency, a second trowel application may be necessary.
  • However, if the object is to achieve the slip class R9, the last coat of paint must not be levelled with (white) pad.
  • With exotic woods there may be a delay in drying due to the ingredients. Pls. contact our technical department.
  • Before using suitable OSB boards, they must be sanded and de-dusted as far as possible. With cork and OSB boards, a longer drying time is to be expected due to the surface structure and the associated increased application quantity.
Excess material applied causes slower drying of the surface and possibly slight surface stickiness.
For this reason, carefully absorb any excess and, if necessary, treat these areas immediately with 879 Euroclean Oil (maintenance oil).
  • Alternatively, as a first step, the surface can be smoothed and immediately massaged in with a white pad.
The following day, after drying, the surface is rolled over with an oil-wax-velour roller without further padding. This procedure is particularly suitable for the latter, problematic types of wood and is necessary to achieve the
    Slip class R9 necessary.
  • Damaged areas can be repaired after cleaning by re-oiling without sanding the surface.

Working conditions:
Required surrounding temperature: min. 18°C.
Material and subfloor temperature: min. 15°C.
Relative humidity: 35 - 75%, recommended <65%.
