Our floor coverings for rail applications come with ‘FR’ backings as standard in order to meet the EN45545-2 requirement. These products require a wet adhesive installation system.
Many of our products can now also be offered with different backing options to ensure that the installation process is as quick and straightforward as possible. Specifically designed to improve efficiencies in time, cost and operation not only for the first installation but throughout the life of the rail vehicle.
Hook & loop, magnetic or self-adhesive backing solutions all ensure that your flooring not only goes in quickly, but is instantly ready to walk on – avoiding long, costly delays associated with wet adhesive open times and trafficking restrictions.

PRO-FIT
An adhesive free installation system, comprising of an integral velour backing to the floor covering and a special hook tape adhered to the sub-floor.
STICK-FIT
Floor coverings incorporating a self-adhesive backing.
MAG-FIT
A magnetic backing layer that is applied to the floor covering material. This can be installed directly onto magnetic sub-floors, or subfloors that have been treated with a magnetic coating.
Please tell us which backing you want at the time of ordering, as they are ‘built in’ to your flooring. For example: ‘Coral Classic 4751FR Pro-Fit’ or ‘Coral Classic 4751FR Mag-Fit’.
