Colour is one of the most intuitive tools designers can use to shape the onboard experience. It can influence mood and behaviour, helping to create calm, reduce stress, energise passengers or support a sense of focus. When applied thoughtfully, colour can also transform spatial perception, making compact cabins feel more open or adding intimacy to larger lounges and public areas.
Because colour is interpreted differently by everyone, factors such as age, culture and personal preference all influence how hues are experienced. Vibrant shades may feel uplifting and expressive to some, while others prefer muted, timeless palettes. Warm tones introduce comfort and familiarity, while cooler shades promote clarity and tranquillity. Purposeful use of bold accents can inject dynamism or highlight important wayfinding points within onboard environments.
Re‑colouration is available across our entire marine Flooring selection. Whether matching to physical samples or aligning with NCS, RAL or Pantone references, we help you achieve your desired palette with accuracy, ensuring a cohesive, integrated interior scheme.
Our marine floor covering portfolio includes two products with varying levels of creative flexibility. Coral Marine FR offers colourway customisation and Flotex Vision FR allows for complete design freedom, the development new designs and the option for custom colourways.
Flotex Vision FR
Featuring approximately 70 million fibres per square metre, Flotex Vision FR provides a high-density substrate ideally suited to digital printing. This allows for vibrant colours and true to life visuals in high resolution photographic detail.
Choose from an extensive collection of high definition digitally printed designs, with hundreds of references available. Colourways can be customised to suit specific aesthetic requirements, or you may choose to create a completely bespoke design. Supported by advanced digital print technology, our bespoke design service enables larger-scale pattern repeats and vivid, lifelike colour reproduction, offering exceptional design flexibility.

Offering a perfect blend of aesthetic styling, durability, and long-lasting appearance retention.

Cut to shape & size
Some projects may require material that is cut to a specific shape and size for ease of installation. The flooring design is produced through precision cutting, where individual elements are cut from the material and arranged to create an inlaid visual.
From an initial concept, detailed drawing, or computer file, the design team will prepare a flooring design that is transferred electronically to the cutting machines. These computer-controlled machines represent state-of-the-art cutting technology and produce precision cut items, accurate to a fraction of a millimetre.
Whether it is a complete room layout, a logo, signage or thematic design, the possibilities are limitless.
