Print Operations Technical Specialist

FUNCTION

Activities:
Product printing:
- Performs necessary printing operations according to specifications.
- Applies customer requirements.
- Records production parameters.
- Enters product data into SAP.
- Manages raw material supplies.
- Checks print quality.
- Alerts the print team leader, inspection department, quality manager, or production manager in case of quality issues.
- Manages production order selection based on planning, quality, and meeting information.
- Operates the production line (from stitching to the washing machine).
- Sets roll assembly priorities for the forklift operator.
- Plans production orders in SAP and on the Colaris system.

Other Duties:
- Manages selvedge cutting with the inspection team (blade changes, box prep and sealing).
- Ensures start-up and proper functioning of installations from start of line to washing machine.
- Keeps work area clean.
- Communicates shift handover instructions.
- Performs first-level maintenance per maintenance plan.
- Conducts end-of-month material inventory for the department.
- May be assigned to other duties depending on workload and skill level.
Key qualities: Rigor and team spirit. Background in medical industry or food industry highly recommended


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM
- Authorized to intervene in emergency situations (spills, pollution, etc.).
- Must inform management.
- Ensures daily activities do not harm the environment.
- Ensures proper waste sorting.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE QUALITY SYSTEM **
3.1. Prevention of Nonconformities: Follows operating procedures and manufacturing routes; performs self-checks.
3.2. Identification and Recording of Quality Issues: Participates in identifying process deviations and issues with raw materials or intermediate products used.
3.3. Corrective Actions: Implements corrective actions as planned.
3.4. Control of Nonconformities: Authorized to stop the line if a quality deviation is observed and takes immediate corrective action. Participates in identifying nonconformities in production and process and applies related decisions.

**HEALTH AND SAFETY ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The employee ensures their own safety and health, as well as that of others affected by their actions or omissions at work. Must raise alerts in case of danger or potential risk.
- Complies with laws, regulations (labor code, internal rules, safety instructions).
- Wears and uses required protective equipment.

Required skills:
- Mastery of Colaris, Chromojet, and all line components from start to the washing machine.
- SAP user / Office tools.
